Finding the Connections

The Semantics project was an R&D project to see if we could connect the ideas and identify keywords from a number of corpi in different languages.

The project used Natural Language Processing (NLP) to identify corresponding concepts between datasets or search based on key concepts and ideas. The information produced was successful, so my job was to present complex data to users in a way that lay-people could understand.

I analyzed the data outputs to decide how best to present the data to users. We tested a number of visualizations and textual representations of the concepts and connections. The end result was a mix of organized text data and specific visualizations.
